Financial aid season is an exciting season for the JCYC Educational Programs. Why? This is our season of giving. Each winter, hundreds of students and parents attend the many Cash for College workshops at local high schools around the city. Cash for College is an initiative of the California Student Aid Commission and is geared at educating families about their financial options for funding a college education. Each workshop is designed to:
1. Educate students and parents about the multiple state and federal options for financial aid.
2. Break down the intricacies of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
3. Connect families with a trained Financial Aid Advisor
4. Provide space for families and students to fill out their FAFSA or California Dream Act
